Also, here is an update on what has been happening in the past month or so!! Back at the end of November (yes, i know, pretty much a month ago), we had Cooking Class Activity organized by our own Alex Mach, Benjamin Hui, Michelle Phung and Jennifer Su. There was a baking section as well as a sauté section. It was a fun day of cooking and great food was made. More pictures and other updates after the break.
The next week, we had our Annual Buddhism Examination, where it tests our knowledge on various aspects of Buddhism. Congratulations to Lily Ho, and Anita Minh of YAD in society on getting highest marks among the adult exam. As for YAD in Schooling, congratulations to Jessica Siew, Phynicia and Zemil Choy getting the highest marks among the youth exams.
On New Years Day, we are planning to bring in the new year with a winter retreat. We will be bring ourselves closer as a group and also become stronger for the coming year as we prepare for the 2013 regional conference. Till then, be safe during the mad rush for cheap shopping and stay safe going into the new year!!~
