For those who didn't know, there was an Offering ceremony for Buddhas and Celestial Guardians this weekend at the temple.
What's that you ask? Well, simply put, it's like a ceremony inviting heavenly deities. Typically, it's held two days before lunar new year, but that's usually the busiest time for everyone, so to accommodate everyone we usually have it within the 10 days of the lunar new year. So anyway, similar to having valued guests in the house we serve offerings like tea, dimsum etc. to them. Too bad if you missed out! It's quite a sight to see.
