YAD Orientation

This past Saturday, we had our long overdue YAD orientation!!!! We were glad we have a few new members joining us. We play a few ice breakers and then went into talking and showing what YAD is and what we do as being part of YAD. Pictures below and more after the break:

Mega Update!!

Hey Everyone!!

Its been almost three months since the last post. I have been quite busy so i haven't been updating quite often as i should. However, i am gonna do a long update today, showing what we have done past few months. First up is:

Winter Retreat January 2012!!
This was held on the first few days of the new year. We brought in the new year with a workshop of learning about mindfulness through different workshops and activities planned and organized by our wonderful YAD in society division. ITS CHRISTMAS !! I would like to wish everyone a wonderful christmas day and happy boxing week shopping!!

Also, here is an update on what has been happening in the past month or so!! Back at the end of November (yes, i know, pretty much a month ago), we had Cooking Class Activity organized by our own Alex Mach, Benjamin Hui, Michelle Phung and Jennifer Su. There was a baking section as well as a sauté section. It was a fun day of cooking and great food was made. More pictures and other updates after the break.

YAD Election Results and Bowling!!

On Oct 22nd, YAD Elections took place to decide the next team of President/Vice President to lead YAD in a new direction for the next 2 years. Here are the results:

After the voting was all over with, we headed over to planet bowl for some fun and celebration.

Activites Update!!~

During Thanksgiving weekend, on Oct 8th, we had a YAD Gathering. It was a simple event to just have fun and talk amongst ourselves. Also. it was to update on what's to come and among other things. We played a bit of bingo and mingled, also had a game of risk going, while others were jamming out with their instruments. A few picture below~

This Saturday, Oct 22nd, we will be having out YAD Election. We will be electing all new candidates for various positions, and thus leading us the next 2 years as well as the 2013 Regional Conference. We will be posting the results here as well when it is official. And after the election is done, as the previous post showed, we will be going out for some bowling!!! Look forward to pictures and updates on that early next week.
